Michael “BuckWild” Ramirez grew up in the 80’s during the explosion of the skateboard
counter culture. He would spend hours in skateboard shops and parks admiring the artwork on
the bottoms of skatedecks. Moving in to his teens he developed a passion for the 60’s & 70’s
lowrider culture. It is this mixture that Michael draws his inspiration and unique style from.
This passion is what propelled him to begin working in a body shop at the age of nineteen.
In 2002 he opened the doors to “BuckWild Design Studio”. In 2005 he began filming on MTV’s
“Pimp My Ride”. In the years that followed he went on to work with TLC’s “OverHaulin”, TLC’s
“Street Customs”, Discovery Channel’s “Biker Build-Off”, CMT’s “Chopper Challenge”, and HGTV’s
“The Antonio Treatment”. His artwork has graced the covers of numerous custom culture and
lifestyle publications. In his career as an artist, Michael has been fortunate enough to work
with corporate Sponsors, collectors, and people from all walks of life. These experiences have
challenged Michael and given him the ability to deliver a product that exceeds his clients
expectations. This has been the key element in his success.
