Sick Jacken's "El Barrio" Music Video | El Mundo Es Un BARRIO
Sick Jacken Live in East Los Angeles for the "El Barrio" Video Shoot
When The Psycho Realm released their debut album back on October 28, 1997 through Columbia / Ruffhouse records their music was so underground and potent their label didn't know how to market them to the
masses. The first two singles and music videos "Stone Garden" and "Psycho City Blocks" were straight hardcore street anthems for the predominantly Latino hip-hop fans that understood their slang and felt
their powerful lyrics. With a classic album with songs that defined our generation "EQUIS", a time when gang violence reached epidemic proportions and police brutality was endemic to the Latino barrios of
the greater Los Angeles area. Psycho Realm's music was as real as the L.A.P.D. Rampart Scandal and the first two music videos directed by Estevan Oriol captured the essence of the sick side streets and took
the Los Angeles / California imagery and style to the world.

giving props to all the Latino neighborhoods world-wide from the "City of God" (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) to the "City of Angels" (Los Angeles, California) it's all Brown Pride!
