THE MESSAGE A CHICANO ART EXHIBITION - CISA STUDIO LLC (Hammond, Indiana)

My next photography gallery will be in Hammond, Indiana on April 16th, 2010 at CISA STUDIO LLC. It’s going to be a group show with fellow Chicano artists: Johnny “Mala Suerte” Garza, Roman Villarreal, and Tony Reyes.

The exhibition is titled “THE MESSAGE” based on the classic hip-hop song by Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five. The song was released in 1982 on Sugar Hill Records and is considered one of the most important songs in the history of hip-hop music and is often listed as one of the best hip-hop songs of all time.
