@ El Cid (Club performance) May 21st After a successful CD Release Show in
December and touring, Olmeca returns to L.A. to bomb some more of that "Counter
Culture" in L.A.
The last show like this, Olmeca "bombed Corn Grenades"
on stage with a live band. He was accompanied by guitarist Eduardo Arenas of
Chicano Batman, Bassist Gomez Comes Alive of Monte Carlo 76, Drummer Leo Costa
and DJ Dubtonez.
Special guests included spoken word artist and
teatrista, Jo Anna Mixpe Ley of Teatro Group Las Ramonas, guitarist Carlos
Zepeda formerly of Slowrider, & Marisa Rondstat of Monte Carlo 76.
May 21st at El Cid, Olmeca will once again bring together art and
rebellion for a night of Hip Hop with musical integrity.
