WHO: Kemo The Blaxican is an MC, producer, arranger and independent
record label owner. Kemo The Blaxican is a consistent artist & lyricist. He
is a brilliant executor and an evolutionist that is creative in mind and a
thought provoking poet stimulates originality. His music has been placed in
dozens of commercials and films.
WHAT: Kemo The Blaxican will be
premiering his video “The Gathering featuring Sick Jacken (The Psycho Realm) at
The R Bar on February 3rd from 9pm-2am.This song is a feature on Kemo The
Blaxican’s third solo release “Upside Of Struggle.” The event is open to the
public and is FREE. The password to get into the venue for that evening is “THE
GATHERING.” Director Hugo V. directed this video, along with two other songs off
“Upside of Struggle,” that will be releasing in the next couple months. All
three videos were shot in one day, which is an “unofficial” Guinness world
record. Director Hugo V. is known as the Quentin Tarantino of music videos. His
directing is influenced by a fierce, purposeful, artful flare. He has been a fan
of Kemo The Blaxican since Kemo was part of Delinquent Habits and upon hearing
the release of “Upside of Struggle” he concluded that he endeavored to
collaborate with Kemo.
